Benellis58 GIB bashing on repeat Groundhog Day

All East now has to do is cash his spade ace and play a heart to my stiff king and West's ace. West then cashes his spade king, on which East discards his last (losing) club, the 8. West then cashes his heart queen and plays his heart 3 to East, who wins the 9 and cashes the 10. There are even some variations that also lead to plus 100 EW.
BUT...East and West are both GIBBO robots, who are well known for being absolutely HOPELESS "defenders", so they don't hold me to 6 tricks and get plus 100. They "hold" me (ha, ha!) to...ten (yes, TEN!!!!!) tricks, as they score MINUS 180 (!!!!!) for yet ANOTHER zero to add to their ever-increasing collection of total failures in a lifetime of bridge incompetence.
How on EARTH did these two losers manage to let me take TEN (!) tricks at this point? Watch:
After winning his club ace, East plays the 4 of hearts to my king and West's ace. Okay, they can STILL beat me. It's not over yet. But having won his heart ace at trick 8, West, at trick nine, now plays...his...QUEEN OF CLUBS! This is one of the worst plays of all time, even for the execrable GIBBO robots! The clueless fool is playing the suit that DECLARER played two tricks earlier - which is incredibly stupid to begin with...but even MORE stupid than usual because he KNOWS that declarer has the high king of clubs! Declarer cashes all his clubs and only loses the final trick, to East's spade ace.
These ignorant, unthinking dolts don't just rot - they rot more than decade-old onions! The GIBBO robots are a huge blot on the face of bridge - as they prove every day hand after hand after hand.

Typical unbelievably stupid lead by the GIBBO robot in the East, followed by a less than perfect defence. Don't worry: I'll post a few more examples also. I don't even come CLOSE to posting all the examples that I COULD post, because there are only so many hours in a day and these hopeless twits provide examples of their incompetence on just about every board they play, and often provide many examples of their stupidity in a single hand. Yes, the GIBBO robots are THAT bad.

North's 2H call is non-forcing. It shows, as per the GIB definition "4+ hearts, 5 spades, 6-11 total points". Excellent! That extreme RARITY: A decent GIB definition! Describes his actual hand very well and means that he wants to play in either 2H or 2S, based on his knowledge that his partner South has a flat 12-14 HCP. Bravo. South gives a preference to 2S. Bravo again - North got his wish. Well done, boys! EXCEPT that...
North NOW...ridiculously, inexplicably, and very inconsistently, LEAPS (!) to three...NO TRUMP! He could earlier have passed his partner's 1NT...or he could have invited via 2NT...or he could have leapt to 3NT directly over South's 1NT...but he DIDN'T. He bid a PASSABLE 2H, hoping to find the best major to play in at the TWO level. He successfully FOUND that major when South bid two SPADES...yet after finding the spade fit...North now LEAPS...not even in spades, but in no trump. Regardless of result - even if it turned out to be a top - where the HELL is there ANY logic in North's sequence?
Furthermore, in contrast to the surprisingly GOOD definition (above) of 2H, THIS is the definition of 3NT: "4-5 hearts; 5 spades; 11+ HCP; 11- total points". Note the inconsistency: Earlier, he supposedly showed "6-11 TOTAL points", meaning he might have had even fewer than 6 HCP. Yet NOW the same hand is MAGICALLY worth at least 11 HIGH CARD (!) points...and possibly as many as 37 (since that is what the lazy GIB statement of "11+ HCP" literally means)! How can the definitions for the same hand have changed so drastically? What it means is that there is no consistency with the useless GIB definitions or the hopeless GIBBO system. And by the way, HCP can be less than or equal to "total" points, but they CANNOT be greater...despite the fact that this pathetic GIB definition of 3NT (and way TOO MANY other GIB definitions) clearly imply the reverse. Far too often, the GIB definitions are nothing but trash.

Meanwhile, although West's lead did not cost (since the hand is open and shut for 9 tricks NS in hearts), note that he led a CLUB...after his partner had DOUBLED 2D and had later bid 2S.

Good lead by West by taking full advantage of East's bidding. Double of 2♦ says don't lead a diamond. Bidding spades says don't lead a spade. The only logical lead is a club. BTW, bidding clubs would have asked for a heart lead. Bridge is a simple game.

The player who sent me this wrote: "South responds 2S - finding the 3-3 spade fit instead of the 5-3 club fit".
Talk about TOTAL cluelessness by GIBBO!

We scored 85.7 % on this board, so the result was fine...but North's bidding was insane. I, South, the only human in the game, opened 1NT and West bid 2S showing spades and a minor. North passed and East bid 2NT asking for West's minor. I passed and West bid 3C. North and East both passed.
In passout seat I decided to compete with 3D, which obviously could work out well or poorly...but I usually avoid going quietly at matchpoints. West bid 3S and North showed the world how mind-boggingly stupid he is by bidding...3NT...with K1032, Q104, 1062, J98...a pancake flat, totally unremarkable MERE six-count! He did this despite KNOWING that I had "only" 15-17 HCP (even though the typically pathetic definition of my 3D call stated that I had SEVENTEEN - WHY? - but that's ANOTHER story!). Furthermore, as he SO often does, North ignored his own GIB deinition of his 3NT call, which stated that he had "8+ HCP". There was also a lot of incorrect GARBAGE, as is SO often the case, in that same GIB definition, but since I don't expect to live forever, I will never have enough time to even come CLOSE to documenting ALL the failures of GIB and GIBBO.

The only nod of sympathy I will give to North is that he is handcuffed by an illogical, unworkable, vastly inferior, antiquated GIBBO bidding system and stunningly bad GIB definitions. Here, for example, my 4C call was ludicrously defined as showing "25+ total points", which is an illogical, indeed crazy, way to play.
When your tools are nothing but garbage - as those of the GIBBO robots are - it's not surprising that they are such laughably bad players.

South wins the diamond and leads a heart at trick two, won by West's king, and now West - being a GIBBO robot (in other words, being an absolutely HORRENDOUS "bridge player") - returns a small HEART at trick three, because these total rejects foolishly cling to their sick, twisted belief that it's good to return the suit DECLARER plays. South wins and plays a third round of hearts, so of COURSE West wins and plays...a FOURTH round of hearts.
My utter contempt for the GIBBO robots - even after ALL the times I have played with and against them - continues to increase each and every time I play...because they are THAT bad.

So why do the GIBBO robots make such WEIRD choices? Looking only at East's hand, he has a VERY normal club lead from his sequence, yet he leads the 9 of hearts from his doubleton 95 (perhaps because these twits seem to enjoy leading worthless doubletons). On this random hand, his lead happens to immediately pick up the entire heart suit for declarer, resolving any heart guess he might have had and instantly ensuring that he has four heart winners and no heart losers.

He passes over West's 2D when he MIGHT have considered making a negative double. Now if that was all there was to the story, I wouldn't have bothered writing about this hand, because his decision to pass would probably have a fair amount of support. BUT...given his LATER actions, we see a REMARKABLE inconsistency in his bidding, because he later...FREELY...bids THREE hearts over West's 3D! Not only that, but he LACKS what his own GIB definition states that he is supposed to have, and the GIB definition itself is SILLY: "4+ hearts; 2- spades; 9+ total points". It's silly for two reasons: First, WHY would he now be FREELY bidding THREE hearts if he's allowed to have as FEW as four (and, of course, the twit DOES have only four!)? Second, if he has at least four hearts and at least 9 total points, both of which are "promised" by the definition, then WHY didn't he earlier make a negative double? And, as is SO often the case, he doesn't even respect the definition, because he does NOT have even CLOSE to 9 total points.
