Why does East (Donald J. Dumbo) play the FOUR of spades at trick four?

ANY decent pair would take the first SIX tricks against South's 3S contract:

Two high hearts, a heart ruff, diamond switch trapping the king to take three diamond tricks.

But the two GIBBO M.O.R.O.N.S. allow me to take NINE tricks, as they can only manage four. They are pathetic.

West DOES start with two high hearts, and East - astonishingly - DOES follow correctly with the 5 and THEN the two, since they play standard signals. I do my best by falsecarding on the second heart with the 8, hiding the 6...but that wouldn't even fool a centipede. It DOES, however, apparently fool the GIBBO trout in the West, because the fleabrained sap...SHIFTS...and he shifts to the WORST card for HIS side that he possibly can. The absolute C.R.ET.I.N. cashes his dfiamond ace (!) and then continues diamonds!

So, not only did this jackass fail to provide an OBVIOUS ruff to his "partner", but he also set up the heart suit for me so that I could pitch a diamond loser on dummy's fourth heart, AND he established my diamond king, which I NEVER could have scored without his assistance!

Just consider: Some REALLY naive GIB apologists and defenders used to say that GIB robots are "better than most human players"!!! Mind you, I haven't heard ANYONE say that in a long, long time. I guess someone finally took the blinders off the apologists!

It worked out well, but that was QUITE a 3H bid by North with his mere four HCP, and his trump...ahem..."support" (!!!!!) of...74 doubleton!

This a MANDATED AUCTION, which explains South's ridiculous 3S call, which, according to the GIB definition, is supposed to be a "cuebid" showing the "ACE of spades". South does not have the ace of spades. His spades are Q985.

We expect an auction MANDATED by GIB to be absolutely pathetic, but GIB is so hopelessly pathetic that it can't even follow its own definitions. GIB/GIBBO is total garbage.

Another MANDATED AUCTION, which means more lunacy.

West's double of 2S is defined by GIB as "Takeout...", which is a really stupid way to play the double on this auction, but we expect nothing but stupidity from GIB/GIBBO, so that's no surprise.

However, look at West's hand for his "takeout double": KJ108, A85, A10, KJ53! He has ONLY a doubleton diamond, yet he has four MEATY spades...behind the spade bidder...and he has two aces and even a KJ in the non=spade suits. You know what? I think West was actually making a PENALTY double, not a takeout double! That would be intelligent, but it's counter to the imbecilic GIB system, as per the definition. So once again, even in an auction that IT mandated, GIB is too stupid and too incompetent to even adhere to its own definition. GIB/GIBBO is total garbage.

Fortunately, since the auction was mandated, all the humans were stuck with it, so I was able to score 96.96 % on the board for "only" going down two and "only" going for 500.

Another mandated auction. More stupidity from GIB, the undisputed champion of stupidity.

North's 3C is defined as "Mixed raise - 4+ diamonds; 7-9 total points; forcing".

GIB has proven on countless occasions that it has no understanding of total points, but we've beaten that dead horse often enough, so here we'll just look at North's "7-9 total points". THIS is North's hand:

AJ64, 98, A1032, AQ7!

Never even mind "total" points - I see FIFTEEN (!!!)...HIGH-CARD POINTS!

GIB is not just garbage. It is world-class, untouchable, unmatchable garbage that would be hard for anyone to even imagine - if they did not observe it happening over and over and over...each and every day. GIB rots!

I've gone into detail many times about the hopeless GIB system for 2C openers, so I won't do it again here. Suffice to say that their entire 2C system is the worthless garbage that you would expect from GIB, but that perhaps the worst feature of all is their stunningly stupid use of the 2NT response.

North's first pass: Perfect.

North's second pass: Decidedly not perfect...regardless of result or layout.

Check out trick 8. Christmas is less than three months away. If you have a friend who is a GIBBO robot, you might consider buying him a book about finessing for his Christmas gift.

These GIBBO dweebs are better at declarer play than at any other part of bridge...and yet, as this hand shows, they're even pretty bad at declarer play! GIB/GIBBO sucks pumice. GIB/GIBBO rots. GIB/GIBBO is the worst of he worst, the lowest of the low.

Why is the GIBBO twit in the West popping his diamond ace at trick two? Is it so that he can give his "partner" (who has the LONG defensive trumps) a ruff...when he (West) has two natural diamond tricks if he just makes the normal play of a low diamond? What a trout!

Yet another example of how pathetic the GIBBO robots are even at declaring.

Watch East's BRILLIANT play of the spade suit at tricks three and four. I guess Superstooge crashed his ace and king because he desperately wanted to be in dummy to lead...another SPADE!

If these GIBBO doofuses ever get a COMEDY show on TV, they will not NEED a laugh track, because the audience will CONSTANTLY be guffawing anyway.

A "defence" that must be seen to be believed! These GIBBO nitwits are the worst ever.
