Our result was fine, but why is North opening that hand? He has only 10 HCP, and he can "always" show the hand later, and MORE accurately. I realize that in the modern world there are pairs, including good ones, that routinely open these types of hands in their system and style...but GIBBO is SUPPOSED TO BE a more "traditional" system. In fact, the definition of the ID opener claims that it shows "11-21 HCP", so - as is not infrequently the case, the GIB definition is not only pathetic and inaccurate, but it is also dishonest. If HUMANS explained their bids the same way, they would be subject to penalties for their dishonest explanations.

Just one MORE reason that GIB/GIBBO is disgusting, repulsive, and beneath contempt. GIB/GIBBO is the worst.
