There's a famous song called "Send in the Clowns". BBO does this every time there's a robot game. Some of their well-known clowns are Johnny Halfwit, Donald J. Dumbo, Sylvester Balboa, Superstooge, Superjerk, Frick, and - of course - Frack. But to be fair, even the non-famous GIBBO robots - all of them - are simple-minded, useless clowns who have no business calling themselves "bridge players". Here's a look at just ONE GIBBO clown show out of millions? Billions? Trillions?

East wins his club king at trick two. Feeble-minded dweeb that he is, he stupidly plays another CLUB at trick three, because these GIBBO M.O.R.O.N.S. love to play the suit that declarer leads. West wins his club ace at trick three, and then at trick four the ignorant hayseed of COURSE cashes his last club. These unbridled dimwits have just managed to set up declarer's remaining two clubs as winners. Does West at LEAST now find the spade shift? Silly question. Of COURSE he doesn't. HE'S a GIBBO robot, so he plays a heart. Declarer takes NINE tricks in his 1NT contract, as Stupid Number One and Stupid Number Two have yet ANOTHER complete ZERO to ass to their massive, overflowing collection of total failure.

Not my table, but an example of how COMPLETELY hopeless the disgusting, useless GIBBO pieces of trash are. This board was played 27 times, and all 27 times the braindead GIBBO trout in the North bid like the clueless wack job he is. This was the most common example, as this auction occurred at 18 of the 27 tables.

South opens 1S. West passes, and the absolute M.O.R.O.N. in the North passes (!!!) with VOID, KJ876432 (!), 9754, 4!

Then, to make it even MORE comical, East bids 1NT, South bids 2S, and now...NOW...North...LEAPS to FOUR HEARTS.

His initial pass shows that he belongs in a ZOO, not at a bridge table...and now, where is there ANY logic or consistency, in that with a hand that he initially (INSANELY!) passed, he is now SUDDENLY thrilled to LEAP to 4H?

By the way, I apologize to every animal in the world for that "zoo" reference, because in my opinion every animal in the world is better, more intelligent, more useful, and infinitely more valuable than the pieces of dirt known as GIBBO robots.

I am currently playing a game with three GIBBO robots, all of whom, needless to say, are incompetent, hopeless fools who have no idea how to play bridge.

That's no surprise and is par for the course. We always know when we begin such a game that the the three GIBBO robots will be among the worst bridge players of all time.

We also know that the GIB definitions will be not only the worst BRIDGE definitions ever written, but perhaps also the worst definitions of ANY kind ever written.

In the game I am currently playing, however, I just saw a GIB definition that - INCREDIBLY - is SO breathtakingly bad that it DWARFS the stupidity of just about every other GIB (!) definition I have ever seen. That should indicate to you just how ASTONOISHINGLY pathetic this particular definition is...because virtually ALL GIB definitions are pure garbage of the worst, foulest sort, yet THIS one is WAY worse than most.

Since the game is ongoing and results will not be available until tomorrow, I cannot post the hand today, but I am REALLY looking forward to exposing this MAMMOTH piece of GIB stupidity, because it is FAR worse than just about every other piece of stinking trash I have seen from the two-headed MONSTER that is GIB/GIBBO. On this auction, and looking only at East's hand, I think a heart lead would make more sense than a club. East leads a club. No surprise there. But later he does something much worse. He wins his club ace at trick four, and then...the harebrained droke STUPIDLY plays a diamond (the suit DECLARER earlier led), rather than a heart (the suit that his "partner" West had wisely shifted to). What can we conclude from this? We can conclude that not only are GIBBO robots utter garbage as opening leaders and utter garbage as "defenders", but they are also utter garbage as "partners". GIB and GIBBO rot.

Countless hands illustrate the lack of intelligence, lack of bridge ability, and lack of logic so frequently displayed by the disgusting, hopeless GIBBO robots.

This hand is no exception.

After West's Unusual 2NT showing at least 5-5 in the reds, the piece of GIBBO trash in the East perversely bids 3H. Why do I say "perversely"? Because the ignorant GIBBO jackass has four (!) diamonds and only two (!) hearts. Perverse, illogical, and just plain stupid - exactly what we have come to expect from these useless GIBBO pieces of trash.

Note also that 5D would be an excellent sac against 4S, even at unfavourable, assuming that 4S was making. In fact, had the NS diamonds been 2-2 rather than 3-1, 5D would have been cold.

4S could have been beaten, but the typically WRETCHED "defence" by the repulsive GIBBO "defenders" allowed declarer to make...with an overtrick!

One problem is that these GIBBO toadstools don't bother signaling, total C.R.E.T.I.N.S. that they are. On West's king of diamonds lead, East, who supposedly plays standard signals, incorrectly followed with the SIX from 10876, thereby giving the WRONG count. Coupled with his misleading, perverse, BIZARRE bid of three HEARTS, it's no wonder that his poor "partner" West went wrong at trick three by playing a second round of DIAMONDS rather than a second round of HEARTS.

Any COMPETENT pair would have defeated 4S via one top diamond, two top hearts, and a club ruff for West. The GIBBO robots did not defeat it - for the quite obvious reason that they are not even close to being competent. They are the pond scum of the bridge world and it's long past the time that they should have been replaced by decent robots.

4D is a bizarre bid by an ALWAYS bizarre GIBBO robot. It's defined as a cuebid, but if North chooses to cuebid, why the HELL is he "cuebidding" 4D rather than 4C? Not only is 4C cheaper, but he actually has the ACE of clubs, whereas he "only" has the KING of diamonds.

Furthermore, on any other hand I've ever seen where GIBBO launched an actual forward-going cuebid sequence in search of a potential slam, they cuebid ACES at their first opportunity, NOT kings! Yet HERE, not only does the jackass in the North bypass his ACE of clubs to "cuebid" his...KING (!) of diamonds...which GIB would NORMALLY define as showing the diamond ACE and DENYING the club ace...but the GIB definition of 4D HERE...STATES (!) that the bid shows the KING of diamonds. This is contrary to any and all (!) GIB definitions that I have EVER seen in similar situations. It's always been obvious that GIB/GIBBO is utterly hopeless. Is it now ALSO going COMPLETELY off the rails?

The GIBBO TROUT "declaring" 2H in the West has K7 doubleton of diamonds in his hand and 84 doubleton in dummy East. During the auction, his RHO opponent, South (yours truly) had overcalled 1S, and passed-hand North had bid 2D.

West bought the contract in 2H. North led a spade to my jack. (Amazing! He actually led his partner's suit, something he HATES to do! Bravo! Alert the press!).

At trick two, I shifted to the 3 of diamonds from A103 tripleton. "Declarer" West played his...SEVEN, thereby losing TWO diamond tricks rather than just the ONE that he SHOULD have lost!

Sure, North HAD bid diamonds, AND "declarer" didn't expect me to UNDERLEAD the ace (mainly because West, being a typically inept and disgusting GIBBO robot, has NO idea how to play bridge!), but his M.O.R.O.N.I.C. play was a ZERO percenter. If, as he suspected, North had the OFFSIDE ace of diamonds, West would ALWAYS be losing both diamond tricks anyway, but if I happened to have UNDERLED the ace (as in practice I did!), he would WIN his king (IF he had the WIT to CORRECTLY play it!) and lose only ONE diamond.

Even I admit that declarer play is the "best" part of the game for these GIBBO pieces of garbage. It is the ONLY aspect of bridge where they are even SLIGHTLY competent, but as this hand shows, they ROT...EVEN at declarer play!

Then at trick 9, my imbecilic GIBBO "partner" proves that he too is a stinking GIBBO robot, because the clueless rube stupidly plays a HEART (allowing "declarer" to take the rest of the tricks) rather than correctly playing a DIAMOND, which would promote my 10 of hearts.

Is there still ANYONE...ANYWHERE...who is naive enough to actually try to DEFEND these utterly hopeless, useless, incompetent GIBBO monstrosities?
