Firstly, you must agree what an immediate 2♣ or 2♠ would be, for me, both calls would be natural showing a pretty good suit and decent values (a Queen or so better than what you actually have or a longer suit).
On the actual layout, I would expect a hand similar to what you have, though I admit it may not be the "standard" approach. IMO the suit quality is good enough and you can reasonably expect partner cards to boost you out suits. GOOD call, partner should pass.

it will be - -- twice rebiddable ♠; 12+ total points
Here the meaning of 2♠ is not spades, just large points and forcing. Likely a hand which can't double 1♣/1♠ because that will promise lengths in ♥/♦ which you may not have.
- !? -- 20+ HCP; 20- total points; 13+ relay points; forcing
That's why GIB-North picks 3NT.
Other option to show your holdings in general would be X, instead of 2♠.
X ( after pass first ) would be: Penalty double; requests ♠ lead -- 13+ HCP; rebiddable ♠; 20- total points

Georgi, once again, I am not asking what GIB plays, I am saying it is not good. Did you think I was asking, or are you saying that you think this is good bridge?

I'm just offering the GIB possibilities and how the bidding was understood. In order to be separated a bug from style of bidding.

1 ♥ x 1♠
Where one spade bidder is xx or x ♠ with large ♥ support xxxxx?
Or
2♥ pass 2♠
2 ♥ pass 2NT
Forcing bids that could be based on no HCP just fit
