What Do You Bid Here?

♠ AQxx
♥ Kxxx
♦AQ98x
♣ -
and the auction goes 1♦-P-1NT-P-?
Assume you are playing 2/1, what are your top three choices? How close is it for you?
As a secondary question, what do you believe the bid of 2NT by you shows here?

In standard 2N shows 18-19, just reverse with this kind of hand and play partner's 2N/3C/3D are nonforcing.
I might try 2D at IMPs but this is matchpoints and so I would just pass, this kind of hand (where it's not clear what we have or if it's safe to attack clubs) is very hard to defend.

edit: I didn't consider shapes like 3316, 3307. These make 2♦ a lot less attractive. Maybe Pass is right even at imps.

We can still have 25-26hcp and/or 9card diamond fit.
I think pass is reasonable and may work too. 2♥ seems like overbid to me.

you get my vote. IMO passing 1NT is a give up bid when partner might find a 3♦ call over my 2♦ bid

I thought 2NT would be at least 18 points and balanced, but my partner believed it could be bid on a much wider range of hands. How much flexibility do you think 2NT should have? Would you bid it with any unbalanced hands? Any 5422 shapes in 15-17 range that you chose not to open 1NT?
