Well, we probably could reconstruct the opponents hands (we know what cards they hold since we see all of ours).
We have to much for 3♦ to have been meant as forcing, we have six hearts so East has a singleton ♥ and probably six ♦ (with five surely he is forced to pass, with seven, he might try 4♦ over 3♠.
The odd thing here is the 3♠ bid. Either opener had (gasp) 4♠ and 6♥ (many do not open weak two with four spades) or West has 3♠ to a feature (responder will not have 5♠'s).
Now the question becomes should south with good ♠ double? Could they be better off in ♥'s? Well seeing all four hands, double seems clear and hope partner leads his trump (should he have one.. it is possible they have stumbled into a 4-4 spade fit if we don't see the one in partner's hand).
I think your bidding (rather you are north or south is fine).
