I am not able to see lobby, unable to chat to room, can not claim. I am not computer savvy and with old version closing down 1/1/2021 I am very upset as I am home bound

You haven't been able to view the lobby in the previous web version, either. Sending a list of tens of thousands of players and keeping it updated was one of the performance improvements we made over a decade ago. Can you really effectively scroll through a list of 30,000 players? It also slowed down logins, since the app had to download everything to your PC.

You can certainly chat to the table. Click on the menu next to the chat line, and you can choose the destination of the chat.

The claim option is in the "hamburger" menu -- a blue square with 3 white lines.
