What's good for the Eyes in not good for the Ear.

As a TD, I try to catch the attention of people ( especially when there is no colour differentiator in the chat text for TD's & co-TD's) by prefixing & suffixing the sentences with the suit symbols S.H.D & C. This embellishment doesn't go too well with voice.

for eg. !H!H!H Please play fast and claim !H!H!!H would be heard as Heart Heart Heart Please play fast and claim Heart Heart Heart

Probably when this upgrade kicks in and more people start using voice, I hope people in general will reduce the usage of suit symbols. Maybe Fred can find a workaround for this.

perhaps fred could implement some type of code that reverses the colouring of the text so that it is white on black, or some other highlighting background

You might try turning it on ONLY for private messages and system wide broadcast. It is true the club announcments are treated as private messages. I would like to see the option to have voic on for private messages on, but block voice for private club messages. Those 15 line things from a couple of clubs are annoying enough on the screen, but when spoken... ARRGHHHHHH

I care about the friends I have made on BBO. Also, I am extremely concerned about the environment/ ecology/ wildlife/ the little planet that we call Earth. How much more of the world's habitat and food supply for animals do we plan on destroying. How many more wetlands are we going to drain, fill, and build on? How many more sand dunes are we going to knock down in the interests of high-rise hotels or luxury homes?

links to download the most recent bbo 4.3.1 or whatever is right there: fred guides you right thru it. If that doesn't work, well,.............
just make sure all other windows and bbo programs have been exited.
