Online pickup, 2 is not game forcing - in fact played in an environment where 2H often played acol style 10+. Thus 3 is the first gameforcing bid.

Agree with 2 and 3 and now what?

4 and hope it makes. Partner can have a lot of pretty good minimum hands, light in controls with a void.

4NT, not the most accurate, but K will hopefully not be useless.

5 also sounds nice if you think yout partner will understand something useful

IMO 2 and 3 both fine,
Now. 5 = 10, 6 = 9. 4N = 7, 4 = 3.
I hope partner will understand 5 to set as trumps and draw attention to the suit.

Hopefully you are being sarcastic here as you are more likely to miss bidding a making 6 contract than go down in 4. If you are not you deserve every LOL you get on here. Where is JLOGIC when you need him?

Partner's range includes a whole bunch of hands like KQJTx - KQJTx QJT where we are down off the top, or even hands like AKQTx - KQJTx QJT where a simple mishap like 4-0 trumps amd a trump promotion could sink our ship.

I think a case could be made for passing 1 even, before we get dramatically overboard.

Yes I agree, in fact if you are going to bid anything it should be 1NT as you don't have the values for 2H in a 2/1 system.

I dunno, maybe an initial bid of 3 hearts, which partner hopefully won't think is a splinter, and instead realize you are stuck for a bid.

It's gotta be 5H - anything else is likely to end in disaster.

How will partner decide to complete the sentence "5H means bid 6 if you have ..." though? :) Personally I'd be thinking "he's got a feckload of hearts, I need controls outside", so I'd bid 6 with something like 5 or more controls.
