I would like to hear from experts what methods/tools/bids that they use after the preemptive raises 1♣ - 3♣ & 1♦ - 3♦, especially when Opener has a big hand.
Thanks in advance

If you have a big hand without the minor blocking (like AKQ), bid 3NT
If you're afraid of a suit, you can always start cuebidding to find a safe 3NT...

I think this is pretty standard:
1. 3 of a major should be a 5 card suit. I think it has limited use as a stopper- showing call looking for 3N. I could accept the call being played as a reverse however.
2. 4 of the minor should be a preemptive re-raise (discuss with your pard if this should be RKCB).
3. 4 of a new suit should be exclusion.
Have any pairs experimented with playing the next new suit as a singleton ask? I think this could be useful, but have never heard of this treatment. I can also see how some asking bids could be utilized.

i like that idea.. 1d : 3d : 3h and 1c : 3c : 3d both ask for stiff/void... i don't see much of a downside, since even if opener has a 2nd suit (say 4 hearts), responder has already shown where his "values" lie... i also would prefer 1m:3m:4m to always be rkc...
