Scoring: MP

1♥ (1nt) P (3nt)

Not a bidding problem this time, what do you lead here?
Standard agreements, 4th best.

On the + side, we did finish 3rd in A for a whopping 0.84 silver monster point.
No doubt, I will have more to post after tonight's game.

Ok, what is wrong with this question? Partner (North) opens 1♥ opps over call 1N and bid 3N your lead?

♥10. Cant find any reason not to lead partners suit. 10 seems best because declarer might hold something like KQx, KJx or Qxx.

I'm trying to think of a way that hearts could block if I lead the Ten, but the only things I can come up with involve partner making a mistake.
Still decidedly intermediate - don't take my guesses as authoritative.

As with any opening lead problem, anything could be right. It is certainly easy to see how leading a heart could give up a trick.

That said, the lead of the ♥T seems obvious.

This is actually a very good hand for a sim, since the hands are pretty tightly defined.

I can run it tomorrow, but if someone wants to take a shot:

1. Pard - 12+; 5+ hearts, hearts>spades
2. RHO - 15-18, at least Kx or Qxx of hearts, no 5 card spades
3. LHO - 9+, 3 or less spades (4333 is OK I guess, if 10+)

At MPs, I will go out on a limb and say a heart is not correct.
Hi y'all!
