And usually 3 spades.

I would say 3442 or 3352 is usual for this auction.

Agree - partner has a good hand with usually exactly 3 spades. This is an easy 2♠.

partner has 3 spades in a goodish hand but he would bid this way with 18-19 balanced as well. either way 2S should do well and 2C may not go down.

I think this is a 2 spade call. Partner's showing a big balanced hand without 4 spades.

Three-card spade support is an agreement, IMO, that most people have sunk in concrete, if they have discussed it at all --and common sense, if they haven't.

2♠ is easy --a strong desire for partner to stop bidding.

I misread the auction as:
(1♣)-DBL-(1♠)-Pass
(2♣)-DBL-(Pass)-??
And voted 2♦...
-Would you agree with 1st pass or is this enough to DBL?

P is showing extras and would like to continue bidding. Lets face it i have DRECK and if p has only 3 spades (as i strongly suspect) we will have almost NO entries and will be praying big time for 32 spade break:) bid 2s and be thankful we have 5 of them. A more interesting quandary would appear if our hand were xxxx xx Qxx Qxxx where p having 5 diamonds is a very real possibilty (but thats another conversation) :)

Partner should hold a good hand that wants to compete further opposite my 0 to 7 count. I do not quite understand why 2D would be a choice, and if partner thinks this is now penalty we will need to have a talk, (I do not see why that option is even in here).

Second Dbl being penalty is completely impossible.
Iy shows extras and denies 4-card spades, also denies overstrength NT with club stopper. Lucky for advancer that he has 5-card suit, things could have been much worse.

Disagree.
That's impossible. No one can give more than one hundred percent. By definition that is the most anyone can give.
