Assuming 3♥ showed spades:

My silly double of 4♣ made this a forcing sequence.

Now I have to guess, so I pass.

so.... you're supposed to pass 4♣, knowing LHO will correct to 4♦... not telling your partner anything?

Or you could bid 4♠ showing your good offense, then pass when RHO bids 5♦ instead of being under pressure to tell your partner something NOW. Glad you checked.

this might also shut them out. rho might not have a hand for 5C opposite the roundeds and lho doesnt know rho has a hand thats willing to play 4C/5+D.

i pass now.
