Maybe, if he was planning on bidding 6S/NT opposite the requisite no. of aces.

don't remember the exact fullhand but I think it was something like:

When I came to the club everyone was talking about the same hand from yesterday, they polled me about the lead and I though I'd lead a spade given partner's double, but suspecting it is a problem about making or not, then I lead a club.

Alas!, only red cards defeat the contract :blink:
