NOT. I'm with the minority, happy to open 1♣. Do not consider 1♥ as obvious, or standard. In no way does a minor suit opening deny a 5 card card major it just doesn't come up very often.

I can construct hands with 5 hearts in dummy as well with opponents playing 4♠ after you open 1♣. And guess what? they are much more likelly.

If the diamond ace were a spot card, I would open 1H. This hand, clearly and obviously 1C.
