More than 19500 were logged on to BBO this afternoon which I believe is a new record. Way to go!

(it took a while to load the program, is it just me or will some changes have to be done with the new amount of people coming in?)

Besides playing for fun, most people also like to play bridge to win

Thanks! Thanks also to hotshot for his post.

As far as I can tell, the highest number we reached today was 19,864. Too bad we don't count GIBs :)

I think it is overwhelming likely that this record will be broken several more times before the World Championships are over.

Sorry but there is nothing we can do about speeding up logins for the Windows client. The more people online, the longer it is going to take.

Logins with the web-client tend to be speedy regardless of the number of people online.
