Can you cite some examples of what an overcaller hand would look like who jump rebids his suit?

As an example, in the following auction. What should partner be expecting from the overcaller?

(1♦) - 1♠ - (Dbl) - p
(1NT) - 3♠

After partner passes this shows a great hand. I would guess 8.5-9 tricks. It also is obviously based more on shape than high cards (no X to begin with).

It basically shows a hand with the shape for a 3♠ preempt. The reason why you didn"t bid 3♠ the round before is that the hand is too strong in high cards.
