I imagine everybody will make it to the first question:

Scoring: IMP

1D - p - 2C - p
2D - p - ??

2C is GF, 2D is "standard", whatever that means. If you bid
Spoiler
then the auction continues:

Spoiler

If you now bid
Spoiler
then you get another decision:

Spoiler

and the result can be plotted on a graph.

I raise 2 to 3. I didn't make it past the first question.

I figured not everybody would make it until the end. Counting on Ken to stay with me though.

Uh oh.

I'd also bid 3.

If 2 happened to be of the "just waiting" variety, then I'd bid 2. After X-XX, I'm actually all in. Lead, please. At least it will be funny.

But, if I had teammates at the other table who I did not want to freak out and who had no sense of humor, I suppose I might bid 3.

I bid 3 in parts 1 and 2. Part 3, where partner has preempted me by bidding 3 himself, is too hard. Sorry.

I'd bid 3C in part 1.

Agree strongly with 2S in part 2.

Feel strongly about 3N in part 3, you have xxx that's good enough.

I had bid 3 first, 2 NT second and asked a bridge expert to solve the third problem. Maybe I had tried 3, xxx is not enough to stop spades.

I don't mind either 3 or 3 at my first call. I think I would tend to bid 3. I don't particularly like any other call.

What's up with people passing this XX? Don't they know they've got the KFay on their left?

Yeah, the lead should only get us two extra tricks. Maybe we need to re-re-double. :P

I can not fathom passing the redouble with Jxx of hearts. It's indescribably awful. I remember from yesterday one or two people did, and I'm intentionally not checking back to see who they are when I post this because it's impossible for me to talk about a pass of the redouble without sounding very mean.

I don't normally play 2 GF, but I think 2 rebid is pretty normal, raising on Kx a suit that could be 4 cards when I have much cheaper options is not for me.

Passing the redouble is close and needs some table filling. I don't like the 2 rebid, 3 or 3 seems more describing.

3 for me too. AKQxx looks like 6 and I'm not raising diamonds on 2 and I'm not hogging the NT with two open suits in spite of my pattern.

I don't know what I'd do in the 2nd case since 2 would have never occurred to me. What useful information do you expect to get here? I guess I'd bid 3 but I'm not at all comfortable with the way this auction is proceeding.

Thanks for the comments.

Partner had a very light Q10 Kxx AJ10xxx xx. Games go down, 2HX would be expensive.

Edit: forgot to say I passed 3D which made. If only I was catholic, I could sleep peacefully now.
and the result can be plotted on a graph.

You might get to 3NT from partner's side. Admittedly, that might not be where you want to be.

For the record, that's not a redouble IF 2 was purely waiting, IMO.

Actually, I don't know when that's a redouble.
