Scoring: MP

Pass-----1S
2C*------2H
???

2C is drury
2H show game interest.
From Psych "I mean, Gus and I never see eye-to-eye on work stuff.
For instance, he doesn't like being used as a human shield when we're being shot at.
I happen to think it's a very noble way to meet one's maker, especially for a guy like him.
Bottom line is we never let that difference of opinion interfere with anything."

4. Some of what I have is in the wrong place, but I do have a complete maximum with five trumps.
... that would still not be conclusive proof, before someone wants to explain that to me as well as if I was a 5 year-old. - gwnn

quacky, balanced, MPs. Q is a duplicated value with 5th trump.

I am still finding excuses, but I think I still bid 4 anyway.

Yeh, having a 4th and 5th trump is a big bonus.

I asked partner, he said yes, ergo 4. I expect to go down 1 since you posted this.

I would also bid 4 as I'm going to game opposite an invite and I'm not strong enough to bid 3.

On the other hand I would not be in the position, as I would have responded 3 initially showing a 5-card limit raise. So I do think it depends on all your passed hand agreements.

4, some of my values might not be useful but the hand is great for game, I think.

With PD interested in game, it is hard to imagine that 4 is not favorite to make here.

They do pay a scoring bonus for bidding and making games, so that's what I go for.
Please let me know about any questions or interest or bug reports about GIB.

Ok, lol, I thought this problem was about if we should in any way open up for slam exploration with a cheaper bid than 4. Maybe partner's 2 could be first step with a strong hand, I don't know. Surely we are in game now.

What else besides the 5th trump and an ace do we have that is good for slam?
Trying to learn, I have many questions.

If you just bid 3S partner going to pass 4S. 4s is great but went down because of a D ruff not too many pair were in 4S.

That's why we don't play results :). What is the long term winner, and what actually happened are two different things... I'd rather be right in the long run than right on one hand and wrong on 9.

I'd rather be right on the final once, than 9 elsewhere :P
