You can update you BBO to the latest:
www.bridgebase.com/beta371/bbo_update.exe
or reinstall everything:
www.bridgebase.com/beta371/bbo_setup.exe
I suggest you go with the "update" method unless you
have a good reason not to. In either case, make sure you
have exited the BBO program COMPLETELY before you
attempt to open either of the files above.
The main purpose of this release was to fix bugs and
I am fairly confident that 2 serious bugs that have been
around for a long time are now gone:
1) The bug that caused some users to "freeze" when they
clicked Lobby/Tables/Tourneys buttons while at a table.
2) The bug that caused auctions to sometimes revert to
previous states, insufficient bids to appear, etc...
You may continue to see more cases of 2) until the time
comes that everyone has a new version (hopefully soon as
we are planning a "forced upgrade" as soon as we have
reason to believe we have a stable version).
Please let me know if you find any problems with 3.7.1
either by posting here or by sending me an e-mail:
fred@bridgebase.com
Thanks in advance for your help in testing 3.7.1 and thanks
to everyone who helped me get to the bottom of some of
the bugs that existed in earlier versions!

Neat Feature, or odd bug.....
I was kibitzing a tournment yesterday when the TD asked me to register as a sub. I said ok, and I exited the table clicked the "add substitute" button and then rejoined the table i was kibitzing (I wasn't actually needed at the time). Oddly enough I was told my name wasn't in the sub list which I wasn't. So I exited the table and checked the sub button, oddly enough the substitute button said click to remove name.
Today, I experimented and discovered that if I added myself to the subsitute list, and checked the list from the table button, I was in the list. But as soon as I started kibitizing, my name was removed from the list.
I guess this would be a really neat feature to insure that kibitzers who have seen a hand or all four hands, can't join the tournment they are kibitzing. I haven't been paying attention, so I don't know if this in fact is such a feature or a bug in 3.7.1

If I kibitz South (or W, E, N) I see only South's cards and later the dummy or partner's hand (when South is dummy), so everything is OK. But when the program redeals it shows all hands (so all hands are visible) until the first new bid (pass or else). After that will be OK again, I see only South's hand, the 3 hands desappear. It's a bug I think.

Thanks Zoltan. This will be fixed in 3.7.2 (likely to be released
as an autoupgrade within the next couple of days).
