Hi,

1NT.

GIB certainly plays 2H as nonforcing, so 2H is an option,
but I would not choose this option, because the suit quality
is terrible.

XX is always the worst option, if you have no clear partnership
understanding about the meaning of the bid.
Besides you are at best min for the call, so no underbid,
if you choose a different bid, if at all,

.......................................................................................

Pass.

If I had made an XX, pass would be forcing (?!), hence I now
have to bid, X - penalty, this of course assumes, that partner
also knows, that pass is forcing, but even if not, X should be
penalty. If I pass it out, I have to ask myself, why did I make
the XX the round before?

With kind regards
Marlowe

* At unfavorable I could shoot for 3NT after the double, but here I have no other choice but to redouble as I am not sure where we belong.

** 3 looks preemptive suggesting our line has a fit too, so I now reluctantly bid 3 as both passing and doubling again look bad.
