it's OK to miss a game once in a while, vulnerable at MP's, but it's certainly not OK to bid a 3NT off 6 or 7 club tricks from start. unhappy 3♦
... and I can prove it with my usual, flawless logic.

I saw the answer and I would still double and bid diamonds.
If partner has the stopper, he can bid NT.
If he has nothing, 4D is OK.
I move one of his clubs to somewhere else, and 5D looks pretty good. So, I would have no regrets being in 5 Diamonds.
