double was wrong with our hand I think. Just bid 2♠. random 11 counts don't bid 2♠ in this sequence.
Now I bid 4♦, but I'll agree to lebensohl in this position with pard after the board. it's something of a guess without it.

... and I can prove it with my usual, flawless logic.

I don't think we need Lebensohl here. Partner has crap he couldn't raise 2♦ to 3♦ freely on the previous round.
Crap might still be enough for 4♦. The only reservation is do we have enough defense against 4♥ now that partner has raised.

hum... there's something fishy about this auction.
Pard seems to have like 5-7 hcp and didn't act over 2♥ despite having diamonds. I think he's probably 3334 with scattered quacks (with aces/kings he wouldn't have failed to bid 3♦ 1st round), e.g. something like
Qxx
Jxx
xxx
QJxx
I would PASS now. Might bid 4♦, but only if pard is an underbidder. I'm not worried of 4♥.. if pard has what I think he has, they won't make it. Heck, if my analysis is correct, they probably wont even make THREE hearts.

Don't like the double either.

I don't understand the double at all. The next round we are in an impossible situation due to that.
Please let me know about any questions or interest or bug reports about GIB.

Agreed about the double. What's wrong with 2♠?
Pass seems reasonable...
