But, if opponents now bid, I have gotten partner off to the right lead (suppose his spades are broken e.g.) and my 3♥ is pretty much as preemptive as 3♠ is.

Opposite a normal 1 ♠ opening, I bid whatever I have avaiable to show inviting strength,so mostly 3 ♠. I have such a beautiful hand, that I am way to good for a simple 2 ♠ bid.

I'll start with 3H.

If partner opened 1♠, I would force to game especially at imps, trying first to play in my heart suit, but if partner insist on being difficult and not support me, I will play 4♠. Not sure what to do over this 2♠ bid.

In any case opps rate to have no game on, so something might be said for passing and later competing to 3♥. Dunno if I could bring myself to do that at table, though.

1♠ = 13+, 5+
2♠ = 9-12, 5+ (even weak - no honors)
There was written 2♠-3♥ as game force, don't ask me why (we were just having some fun with new system).
