I'd like to be in 5D Misho. Hard to get there. After the lead, duck a H win the return, cash the high cards and cross ruff. Hope to lose 1H and 1D only.

1D 1H
1S 2C (2C = either signoff in D or game invite)
3D 4D (3D = good hand, invite over 2D pass hand)
5D Pass

The hard bid here is 4D. I play the 3D as non-forcing, but willing to continue over a normal "pass" of 2D over openers "forced" 2D rebid. This hand has 4 card dimaond fit, the DA, and two doubletons. It is probably just (barely) worth a raise to 4D (non-forcing).

The play: No chance if Diamonds are 4-0, easy if Diamonds are 2-2. Ron's line is probably ok, but I think I don't lead a Heart, instead I just go ahead and play like this...

Bidding at table (Precision)
1CL-1DI, 2DI - all pass, lead mid SP

No 3NT - 3-1 in DI. 5DI with SP lead is makeable, but need to play without drow any trump! Well done Ron!
Nice bidding Ben, only question is can S evaluate 2 dubletons for 5 minor game? I think instead of 3DI, 3CL is better, showing exactly hand with shortness in HE and sign off can be also in CL, right?

1D 1H
1S 2C (2C = either signoff in D or game invite)

Nice to play 2 way checkback here. I assume this means

1D 1H
1S 2D is a GF?, as with invit hand you go via 2C and then raise 2D to 3D

Correct. We use 2C as game try or signoff in D, 2D as game force, and 2NT as signoff in Clubs or some invite hands iwth fair hearts and nothing else

I support to duck a heart in trick 2.

Say you run smoothly up to now. Now you can't get back to your hand.
If you play a heart, either side won and cash the last spade to set your contract.
