I don't know if these have appeared here before. Anyway, it can't hurt to think about them again :D

1) AK109xx versus x, need 5 tricks

2) AQ98x versus xx, need 4 tricks

3) AQ98x versus xx, need 3 tricks.
Please note: I am interested in boring, bog standard, 2/1.

These are much easier to see after some expert answers :D
1. low to 10
2&3 pass, I'd start by playing low to 9.

I think I can learn these combinations but I sure have a hard time working them out from scratch. Knowing the %split is the first step I guess.

Can someone please describe the steps you take to work them out.

Justin, these are way over your head, don't even try answering them!

Jilly, for the first one I can see 2 possible lines. I: play them from the top, and II: play low to the ten, and later play them from the top. Now try to see for which holdings the first line wins, and for which holdings the second line wins. I'll write my analysis hidden:
