Scoring: IMP

W - N - E - S
1♠-ps-2♣-ps
2♠-ps-3NT-...

It seems you can make 4 easy tricks if things are normal, do you double? and what do you lead?

Does 2S promise 6 cards? If no, I lead SQ. If yes I would just lead Dx

I care about the friends I have made on BBO. Also, I am extremely concerned about the environment/ ecology/ wildlife/ the little planet that we call Earth. How much more of the world's habitat and food supply for animals do we plan on destroying. How many more wetlands are we going to drain, fill, and build on? How many more sand dunes are we going to knock down in the interests of high-rise hotels or luxury homes?

I have 13 hcp, give opps hypothetical 25, that's = 38. Where's partner's queen or Jack. A red suit lead doesn't rate to gain anything: at best it ties, at worst it locates partner's red honor if he/she has one.
I would not double.
I would lead the spade Jack and then shift to clubs if jack holds the trick. (with my luck the spade jack loses to stiff king on my right).

Hi

I would not double, because I risk blowing
a trick with my opening lead.

King of clubs, following the old advice ...,
if I it is wrong, I will complain sunday.

I do not double.

I lead 6 of diamonds, passive lead:
- we have most of the outstanding hcp
- we have opps suits stopped
- hearts can still be distributed 4333 (actually this is quite likely), in which case leading away from your Txx suit will waste a trick.

On a lucky day, pard will contribute something in diamonds; on a bad day, declarer will just finesse right.
