We play Aspro and are happy with it.
2♣ = hearts & another
2♦ = spades and a minor.
What does this sequence mean:
2♣ - 2♦
2NT ?
Is it something like 1-4-4-4? That seems okay.
We have been playing it as a minimum with 5+ clubs. A Max with 5+ clubs bids 3♣.
This is analogous to
2♣ - 2♦
Pass = minimum wit 5+ diamonds
3♦ = max with 5+ diamonds.
While you are here, what do you do when 2♣ Aspro is doubled?
Pass = "prefer clubs to hearts."
We play XX = "show your 5-carder" 2♦ = natural.

Hi,
your agreements to a doubles 2C bid look ok.
With kind regards
Marlowe
PS: Not knowing ASPRO, but does it not promise a 54 distribution, i.e. 4441 is out?
