It has been a few weeks since I played the simple IMP game that you can practice with. It was nice because you could see your results versus others and see why they got a better score than you. I tried to do that today and they are no longer available.

Will they be coming back?

Is there another option to bid and play hands by yourself and compare your results others?

I have the same question. Why were they removed, and will they be coming back.

I agree. It was helpful to be able to undo moves and to reset the score after every board instead of having a cumulative score. This was the best way to practice.

I also found the Matchpoints and IMP practice options the most helpful. My partners all agree, and would like to see them return to BBO soon.

Good news - they are back!!!

Not sure what happened to make them go away, and no idea what happened to get them back - but they are back, nuff said!!

They've gone again, love to know where? I too have used them for practice and find it really helpful, now I am taken to Just play Bridge... are they gone forever? I really hope not...

I found the problem, it is a chrome one.. loads perfectly as an app and on Microsoft Edge... sorry to waste anybody's time.

Are you using an ad blocker? This may be similar to the problem where pay tourneys are showing in the Free Tournaments section. The ad blocker causes you to get the old tourney listing, which doesn't filter properly.

I also really enjoy these practice games. I have disabled my adblocker, tried microsoft edge (vs. chrome) and I have tried using the app on my phone. When I select MP or IMP, the login screen briefly appears, and then I am routed to the Just Play Bridge option. Frustrating.

Same complaint about the unexplained disappearance. I can't fathom BBO intent but it's really a discouragement from using their site.

The anonymous games were removed but will be offered inside BBO, after you login, in an improved format (with results tracked in your hand records and much better comparisons). This will be available in the next BBO upgrade.

This is not improved, it's a money grab. The anonymous games were the best casual practice options. Goodbye BBO.

When software is working and folks are happy with it, why do programmers feel the need to mess with it? Go write a new program.
