BBO points award not changing

Can someone explain why my BBO award is not changing even though I have the points for the next grade. I am new to BBO but my BBO points now show 5.8 award 2+, points to next grade -0.8. Now whenever I get BBO points the negative number needed for next grade just gets higher and award remains at 2+. This has only begun happening over the last 2 days as I reached the 5 BBO points required for 3 award.

They are updated daily, rather than in real time.

The points may be, but sometimes ranking increments seem to take longer.

I agree that the skill levels should be reviewed. I could select world-class, but in reality i know i am just an average player whose life does not revolve around bridge. The whole concept of self-describing one's skill level is stupid on its surface. Everywhere else in bridge the divisions are beginner, intermediate, and advanced. Really, that is all you need to know. It is self-policing anyway. If you are just average and happen to get seated at a table of advanced players either you leave pretty quickly or you get tossed out. Rarely you fined decent people who welcome you and try to teach you something. Rarely, most advanced players here have egos the size of Trump's.

This thread has nothing to do with skill levels, it's talking about the number that shows in your profile to indicate what range of BBO points you have.

It shouldn't. A program runs every morning to update everyone's rank symbol.
