Aren't the robots supposed to automatically default to advanced for this challenge tournament?

I ask because I am currently playing my challenge with slavko2008 and I just blundered in a contract; surprisingly the bots blundered back after two more tricks. I just got a sense that perhaps the bots weren't really advanced-level.

Thought I will post here to check.
