Trouble on a Macbook I can't start a Solitaire game

I happily play bridge on my IMac but I've been rather hogging the computer.

I've tried to get BridgeBase working on my Macbook Pro but I get the message

Service unavailable Please refresh page or try again later.

It's rather distressing.

The laptop is a bit elderly but has lots of memory and it's pretty speedy.

Could anyone, please, suggest what might be going wrong?

Our records show you've been using the old Flash version of BBO. Try switching to the HTML5 version.

Also, try a different browser.
