Running simultaneous tournaments

Newbie question here.

I want to run simultaneous (or at least heavily overlapping in time) tournaments, in order to stratify my field. I assume this is possible.

Are there any traps or gotchas I should watch out for?

Stratification means that players at different levels play in the same tournament, not separate tournaments. Separate tournaments is flighting, not stratifying.

The only gotcha I can think of is the added complexity for you of directing multiple tournaments. The software handles it fine.
