Despite the horror of last nights outing, it really is a good system and fun to play.
Of course, the big question is what version of the system we should teach ...

I'm certainly interested - However with time zone difference (I live in UK) and being out a LOT in Summer (golf), i'm not sure about committing to a regular time. Winter might be better? But I'll be grateful for any description notes and particularly relay bidding examples you put on the web

I've uploaded some notes to the WWW
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/moscito/file...System%20Notes/
You will find:
- System notes for German Moscito (less agressive than Aussie but ACBL legal and very precise for slam bidding)
- Relay structure (can be used with German or Aussie versions, based on rules doesn't need memorization)
- Interference over relays (what happen when they bid based on rules to prevent problems)
You are invited to download and read these files they are very raw and very simple but it's a start isn't it? You can post questions in this forum and I'll try to answer them all. I'll try to arrange some practice lessons/lectures so we can practice together if you are interested.
Welcome to Moscito.

http://www.diku.dk/hjemmesider/studerende/...man-moscito.pdf
The relay structure and openings are identical to Luis' above, however, this document uses various asking bids rather than denial cuebidding and includes a modification with transfer openings and 1nt = majors.
For the impatient, Honeymoon Moscito (Peter Buchen 1991) has "natural relays" and is very easy to learn:
http://www.diku.dk/hjemmesider/studerende/...oon-moscito.pdf
The above system is very fun if you've never played a strong club and want to try it - you can play it literally after 15 minutes. Honeymoon is rather lacking in definition, of course, so one quickly acquires the ambition to try something more well-defined (and complex), like Luis' variant of German Moscito.
Luis, if you want to do a neat-looking write-up of your version of German Moscito, I have the LaTeX sources for the German Moscito PDF-file above.
(I got all this off the internet. I have had no part in the creation of any moscito-variants.)

Hi, The Latex sources of the document will be welcome, maybe I can produce a better formatted document for the version we play.
Thanks!
Pls send it to luis@fuegolabs.com if you can be so kind.
Cheers,
Luis.
