I'm thinking about a strong club system where a 1M (and possibly 1♦) opener is usually 4 cards or 6 cards - something like 10-12 bal or 10-15 either single suited or two suited canape. I'm wondering about 2M openers showing 5M4+♣, anyone know if there are any similar systems? I believe those 2M openers were used in old Italian system and I'm told they were used by a pair on vugraph recently, anyone know any more?
TIA

weiss uses all 1 bids to show 2 suiters, canape always (unless clubs involved)... 2 suiters are 11-15/16, 6+.. 2c is 3 suiter... i've been working on something that combines the one and two suiters into the 1 bids so can still have 2 bids weak, haven't finished yet

This was FitzGibbon/Mesbur of the Irish team in Istanbul; you can find their CC on the ecats site. Their card says "Blue Club" but I don't believe that's an accurate description.
