convention card problems how to?

1) How does one edit one's convention card?
2) How does one put in a partner for a given convention card?

1) Select the CC in the Convention Cards tab, and click on "Edit". When you're done, click on the "Save" button.
2) When editing the CC, put their name in the "Partner" field and save it.

as a sub - how do I find my partner's convention card??

I don't think subs are expected to play their partner's card.

But you can click on the hamburger menu and look at NS Convention Card or EW Convention Card.
