Service unavailable game stops temporarily

So I set up my parents to play BBO as they were dying without their normal bridge games. My parents are in the same house, but my dad's computer says "Service unavailable" and then he has to refresh and then it comes back on. My mom's computer doesn't have this issue. do I need to upgrade something on my dad's computer? They play with different partners btw...

Make sure he's using an up-to-date browser and has JavaScript enabled.
