I also could be struck by lightning, mauled by a bear, etc. None of these things seem likely enough for me to let them affect affect my actions.

When I was younger I occasionally bought lottery tickets. I didn't think I could win, but it was just a cheap gamble. It's more of a dream than an expectation.

I just object to judging a player's actions based on a result that they could hardly have expected. Maybe my objection should be with the lawmakers who worded that law, as it allows this liberal interpretation.
