Isn't it programmed to return the higher of touching cards? After the 10H opening lead I took the Ace and returned the QD to the K, A. The bot then returned the 9D from 10,9,4,2. When I won the JD the declarer should have started with K,10,8 instead of K,8 doubleton. what gives?

At trick one, it usually leads highest from touching cards, and lowest from touching cards in third hand.

But later in the game, my perception from a lot of robot play, is that it will randomly select cards if they are equivalent, from a double-dummy viewpoint.
