Total imps option like the London times

How about another option on imps scoring where avg isnt used but you are imped against every other pair your direction. Granted it makes the imp scoring more matchpoint like but is very interestiing to play that way.

My problem right now is where does a individual game start to statiscially even out.One game I ran had 8 players over 70% for 8 boards.(matchpoint)

Cross IMPs (comparison against every pair) is actually used right now, instead of Butler (comparison against an average)

ok i just hadnt noticed it when looking at results, i know cross imps then can be pretty brutal when a disaster happens on a particular hand and your the only one it happens to.

did play in a game where cross imps were used and it still pretty much does an avg just not a butler avg for par, it takes an avg of your results per opponent your way.
