WJ2005 is out in english on daniel's site, it would be nice to discuss it in general with other polish club players, and espcially of the new convensions suggested for 1C-1M-2D.

I quite like the new responses. As a fit has been found it is probably best that responder describes his hand and opener (who would have trouble describing his hand anyway) does not.

They give 2 options for the 2D bid, the second one is half natural, being at most 3 card fit, and the idea is to continue naturally.

These are only ok for those who are unwilling to learn the full relay structure as detailed by Matula, in other words non serious PC players. Matula's is far and wasy the best Odwrotka structure, but does require a little bit of learning.

I downloaded the PDF file - a lot of progression in WJ2005. So much so I'm going to learn it and play - I rather liked it.

The minisplinters caught my eye along with the change to 1430.
