This hand is from Arena Challenges, and I always sat at south seat.

1- If north is human partner, I would think north is underbidding 3.

2- 4 says " 2-,3-5,3-4,4,25+TPs".
However I wouldn't think I am overbidding 4 in such contest auctions.

3- North Gib really bids up to 7, obviously overbidding here.

Who's wrong?

3H is underbid, pretty clear cue bid (a hand appropriate to cue bid, both majors and values!).

4H is an overbid, it should show more than this actual hand. But certainly not 25+. Maybe 16/17+?

7h is of course ridiculous.

I think a rule that says "never jump to 6 or 7 of any suit if blackwood is still available", with possible exceptions of you must, would be a good idea. Bids like 4H here should still be fixed, but meanwhile you would get to 5 instead of 7 on hands like this, and it would cover all auctions.
Please let me know about any questions or interest or bug reports about GIB.

I don't know if it is a simple fix, but the only bids that should show 25+ points should be after opening a strong 2 opener. Yeah, that is oversimplifying things but it's pretty rare to have 25+ when the opponents open the bidding and there are a zillion more auctions where a game is bid either as a sacrifice or on the assumption that partner has their fair share of points instead of assuming that partner has a yarborough and that you have game in hand.

I agree, I'd search the DB for all instances of "25+" and tweak them to something more realistic if they involve competitive auctions and not 2 openers.
