South's 3 should be limited to like 12 hcp max to discourage North from hopelessly moving on having made marginal try to begin with. Also I prefer 2nt to 2s by North, more descriptive?

GIB should "remember" that in the previous round of bidding, South rejected the game try. Bidding on should be impossible if GIB has an invitational hand.

While I checked this hand, I found many issues including wrong Gib CC in it.
However I have to say normal opening is 1 for this hand.

Hand-1

See the explanations on 1 and 3, there are too many issues.

Hand-2

If South opens 1, it goes

Hand-3
If I rebid 3 to reject game try, Gib would sign off at once, good job, my basic Gib !

Yes 3H should be defined as the lower end of the point count. Good catch.
Please let me know about any questions or interest or bug reports about GIB.
