GIB thinks 3S shows diamond support.
So what do I have to do to show better than simple club preference? Bid 5C?

3S should be ambiguous looking for best strain. May contain big support
for either of opener's suits.

There is a default rule for cuebids of the opponents' suit that it shows a good hand with support for partner's last bid suit. There are a number of auctions where this doesn't make a lot of sense, but it's also hard to fix.
Please let me know about any questions or interest or bug reports about GIB.
