Atriald makes great play

I was directing an ACBL speedball on Sunday when this hand came up.
BBO player atriald was sitting west.
Declarer proceeded with a excellent line of play.
Atriald found the winning defense at trick 10.



Nicely done atriald.
This rare defensive play has a name.

Kinda cool. Declarer would lead toward Q if he had it. Not a fan of the auction though.

Agree that 3 full rounds of bidding is a bit excessive for a speedball but I think it's OK for a slam hand.
