Another great bidding sequence.

Which call was most responsible for the bidding disaster? 6D, 6C or 6NT would have been fine, or indeed 7C or 7D or 7NT on the layout of the cards. But not 6H.

Difficult to say without having the system meanings attached to the bids.
Psych (pron. saik): A gross and deliberate misstatement of honour strength and/or suit length. Expressly permitted under Law 73E but forbidden contrary to that law by Acol club tourneys.

Psyche (pron. sahy-kee): The human soul, spirit or mind (derived, personification thereof, beloved of Eros, Greek myth).
Masterminding (pron. mPosted ImagesPosted ImagetPosted Imager-mPosted ImagendPosted Imageing) tr. v. - Any bid made by bridge player with which partner disagrees.

Standard GIB, whatever that means

1H 2D - GF
2H 3C - second suit
3D - delayed support 3H - I think this should be 2 cards, possibly Hx?
4C - Unknown. Support? Cue? Agreeing what? 4D - Cue
4S - Cue 4NT - Unknown. Blackwood? If so, what is the agreed suit? Natural? Quantitative?
5H - Presumably an answer to key cards. 5S? Q ask? DSIP?
6H - To play

I sometimes struggle with the GIB bidding system - but I want to know if I screwed up or if GIB screwed up.

IMO 2H. Why not 2NT or even 3♦?

2♥ is the normal default rebid for a hand that "has nothing in particular to say". 2N would require a stronger hand, and 3♦ would require four diamonds. (Responder could be 3343 with more than 15 HCP.)

It appears to me (although I cannot be sure without the system-provided explanations) that 4♣ started a cue-bidding sequence with hearts as the agreed suit. It's likely that 3♥ showed three-card support, since you cannot show this in your first bid, so that's what we'd want to see in the explanations.

If it's not in myhands, meaning you played it in some sort of "just play" form, it's gone. You must export to handviewer before you leave the table.

You're not wrong, but GIB on some auctions occupies its own strange planet. GIB seems to be behaving as if hearts are agreed, not bidding 3nt, and responding to keycard with hearts agreed not diamonds. Which is why it's important to capture the bidding descriptions with export deal, and probably post this in the robot discussion forum as a bug report. Most disasters are GIB bugs, occasionally some of us defend GIB's actions but not most times or this one. On this hand GIB bid badly but perhaps you could have seen some of the late auction bids were defined weirdly and rescued it by bidding 6nt at some point since there were some reasons to suspect the trump suit was inadequate.

yet another example of how rebidding 2h with this hand is confusing even for the robots

We see true wc players handle this style, we see many if not most forum members play this style but for many of the rest of us it is confusing.

I do not know who was GIB and who was you.
What I know is if you take six and a half rounds of bidding to find a final contract with a Bridge playing software it is your fault.

At the current state of the art I would never trust any Bridge software beyond the second rebid.
