Can anyone pick what is peculiar about this hand? It came up tonight. Both pairs were in 4H for a flat board. (Hint: think of other contracts).

Ooops, no 6♠ (copied everything from previous post, only added the level to 6). Only 6♣, 6♥ or 6NT. Still want to double?

YESSSS!!!
Agaisnt 6♣ by south I lead the heart QUEEN.
Against 6♥, I lead the Heart Queen
Against 6NT, why break the habit, I lead the heart QUEEN.
Are you sure you are looking at the right hands?

Peculiar hand. 3NT by South makes 11 tricks, by North only makes 8 tricks. One of the more blatant examples of right siding a contract.

rightsiding? with Qx opp Ax which is the right side? More like another example of the possible randomness in bridge (which will average out over the long run).

Yes Justin, that is my point. How can Nth-Sth tell from which side the contract should be played? Its impossible to tell..

I think rightsiding is wayyy overrated in uncontested auctions anyways.
