Selecting cards on the play store app

On the new Android version, I find that when I select a card, I used to be able to double tap on it to play it.

Now it seems whenever I do that, it selects a different card the second time. Can this be sorted out?

I don't think you've ever had to double tap, the first tap played the card.

The double tap was used when you selected "confirm cards" in options.

It is virtually useless in the current release.
