Windows Client Where has the client gone

I used to play with a windows client. With the new BBO this seems to be gone and I must play with the browser. I like the browser interface but I have a delicate internet connection which results in sporadic, very short breaks in the connection. With that I drop out of my game, need to relog in, and then cannot rejoin the table.

It used to be easier. :blink:

Is there still somewhere a windows client? Any other suggestions?

If you have a flaky connection, the web client should be more reliable than the windows client. The windows client uses the network more heavily than the web client, because it's constantly receiving updates to all the logged in users. The web client only gets updates to friends, hosts, stars, and kibitzers. The web client also has a connection quality display in the corner.
